Ingredients
  

For the burgers

  • 1 lb ground beef You can swap out for ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • Salt & pepper To taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese Feel free to use a different type of cheese if preferred.

For the foil packets

  • baby potatoes Use as many as needed to surround the patties.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the grill.
  • Form the ground beef into 4 patties and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Cooking

  • On a large piece of foil, place the beef patties and top each with a slice of Swiss cheese.
  • Add some sliced mushrooms on top of the patties.
  • Surround the patties with baby potatoes.
  • Fold the foil to create packets and seal tightly.
  • Place the packets on the grill and cook for about 20-25 minutes, until the beef is cooked through and the potatoes are tender.
  • Carefully open the packets and enjoy your meal!

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding sliced onions or bell peppers to the packets. Ensure the foil is sealed tightly to retain all juices. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
