  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 unit egg

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until you have a smooth batter.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • Pour the batter into the heated pan and cover it with a lid.
  • Cook for about 15-20 minutes until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Once done, remove it from the pan and enjoy your delicious stovetop bread!

Notes

Serve warm with butter or as a side to meals. To store, cool completely, wrap tightly, and refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for up to a month. Reheat by toasting slices.
