Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 large eggs, 2 tablespoons of milk or water, a pinch of salt, and a sprinkle of pepper until well combined and slightly frothy.
  • Grease a small oven-safe dish or ramekin with cooking spray or oil.

Cooking

  • Pour the whisked egg mixture into the greased dish, filling it about halfway.
  • Sprinkle your desired fillings on top of the egg mixture.
  • Carefully place the filled dish in the preheated air fryer basket and set a timer for 8-10 minutes.
  • Once the timer goes off, carefully remove the dish from the air fryer and let it cool for a couple of minutes.
  • Gently slide the omelette onto a plate and garnish with more fresh herbs or hot sauce if desired.

Notes

Using fresh eggs enhances flavors. Don’t skip whisking for fluffiness. Experiment with fillings and enjoy pairing with toast, salad, or fruit.
