  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Boneless and skinless recommended
  • 8 oz egg noodles Or any pasta of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons butter For sautéing
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adjust according to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth Low-sodium preferred
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning
  • to taste Parmesan cheese Grated, for serving
  • to taste Chopped parsley For garnish

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them in the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the egg noodles to the skillet. Cook according to the package instructions until the noodles are tender.
  • Once the noodles are cooked, return the chicken to the skillet and toss everything together until combined.

Serving

  • Serve the dish hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley for a fresh touch.

Notes

Let leftovers cool before refrigerating. It will last for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of chicken broth to moisten the noodles.
