Ingredients
  

For the cheese sticks

  • 1 pound Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, cut into sticks
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 large Eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • To taste Salt and Pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • As needed Oil for Frying Use vegetable or canola oil.

Preparation

  • Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls for flour, beaten eggs, and panko mixed with seasonings.
  • Preheat the oil in a large pot or deep fryer to about 350°F (175°C).

Breading

  • Dredge each mozzarella stick in flour, shaking off excess.
  • Dip the stick into the beaten eggs, then roll in the panko mixture until fully coated.

Frying

  • Carefully lower several breaded sticks into the hot oil, frying for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serving

  • Serve warm with marinara sauce and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Chill the cheese for 30 minutes before breading to help minimize melting while frying. Enjoy with ranch dressing or balsamic glaze for a gourmet twist.
