  • 1 tbsp olive oil For searing.
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella Optional for extra cheesiness.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese The key flavor component.
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing Adds creaminess.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Brings delightful richness.
  • 2 pieces garlic cloves, minced Fresh garlic adds a robust flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning A blend of flavors that elevates the dish.
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes Optional for a little heat!
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs Vital for getting that crispy topping.
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted Makes everything better!
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • Pound the chicken to 1/2 inch thick between two pieces of plastic wrap.
  • Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Cooking

  • Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake the chicken for 10-12 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

Preparing the Topping

  • In a medium bowl, combine ranch dressing, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  • In another bowl, mix Panko breadcrumbs, remaining grated Parmesan, and melted butter.

Assembly

  • Spread the Parmesan topping over each piece of chicken once baked.
  • Sprinkle the Panko mixture on top and press down lightly.
  • Broil for 2-3 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for noticeable flavor. Substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise for a healthier option. Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a garden salad.
