  • 2 cans 15-ounce cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup
  • 1 box 15-ounce box vanilla cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, sliced into 24 very thin slices Make sure to cover all the cake mix with butter slices.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9x13 pan with baking spray or grease and flour the pan.
  • Dump the 2 cans of canned peaches into the 9x13 baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the entire contents of the box of cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  • Place the very thin slices of butter on top of the cake mix to cover all of the cake mix, leaving no open areas of cake mix.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. If desired, top with ice cream.

Notes

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake is best served warm or at room temperature. You can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top for extra sweetness. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
