  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Beef broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and have them ready to go. Slice the flank steak, bell peppers, and onion.

Cooking the Steak

  • Add the sliced flank steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  • Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.

Sautéing the Vegetables

  • Add the sliced bell peppers and onion, stir-frying until bright and crisp-tender, about 3-5 minutes.

Making the Sauce

  • Pour the sauce mixture into the pan with the sautéed vegetables, stirring to combine.

Combining Ingredients

  • Return the cooked flank steak to the pan and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes to absorb flavors.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

Serving

  • Serve over jasmine rice or noodles, letting the sauce soak in.

Notes
