  • 8 oz Pasta (penne or rotini) Use any preferred pasta shape.

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef (thinly sliced) Ask butcher for thinly sliced beef.
  • 1 cup Bell peppers (sliced) Any color bell peppers work.
  • 1 cup Onions (sliced) Yellow or sweet onions are recommended.
  • 2 cups Heavy cream For a creamier sauce.
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup Provolone cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • To taste Salt and pepper Adjust to personal preference.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside without rinsing.

Sautéing the Veggies

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for 5 to 7 minutes until soft.

Preparing the Beef

  • Add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

Making the Creamy Sauce

  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.

Adding Cheese

  • Gradually add shredded cheddar and provolone cheese, stirring continuously until melted and creamy.

Combining Everything

  • Add the cooked pasta to the creamy beef mixture and toss to combine.

Adjusting Seasoning

  • Taste the dish and adjust seasoning, adding more salt, pepper, or cheese if desired.

Serving

  • Serve hot in bowls, topped with additional shredded cheese if desired.

Notes

Consider adding fresh herbs like rosemary or experimenting with different vegetables. For a richer sauce, add a splash of white wine or Worcestershire sauce.
