Ingredients
  

Pasta and Main Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Pasta (penne or fusilli) Use your favorite type of pasta.
  • 1 pound Beef sirloin, sliced thin Can substitute with chicken or turkey for a lighter option.
  • 1 Green bell pepper, sliced Feel free to use red or yellow bell peppers for sweetness.
  • 1 Onion, sliced Yellow or sweet onion can be used.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh garlic gives the best flavor.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Can be substituted with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • 1 cup Beef broth Use low-sodium broth to control salt.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup Provolone cheese, shredded Can be replaced with mozzarella or cheddar.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • as desired Chopped parsley for garnish Adds freshness.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Boil a pot of water and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Beef

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add sliced beef sirloin, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Sauté until the beef is browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Veggies

  • In the same skillet, add sliced green bell pepper and onion. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

Making the Sauce

  • Stir in heavy cream, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce, bringing to a gentle simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combine Everything

  • Add the cooked pasta and sautéed beef back into the skillet. Stir gently to coat everything with the sauce.
  • Add shredded provolone cheese and stir until melted.

Serving

  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve in bowls and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat on the stove over low heat with a splash of broth or cream if it looks dry.
