Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 4 pieces toasted sandwich buns

Vegetables

  • 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves minced garlic

Cheese and Seasoning

  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese Adjust amount as desired.
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add chopped onions and peppers to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  • Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in shredded provolone cheese until melted and combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Spoon the mixture onto toasted sandwich buns and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve hot with additional toppings like mayonnaise, hot sauce, or pickles. Pairs well with fries, chips, or fresh salad. For storage, refrigerate the beef mixture in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
