Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Steak Use your favorite cut of steak.
  • 1 tablespoon Oil For cooking the steak.
  • 4 cups Fries Use frozen or homemade fries.
  • 2 cups Cheese Cheddar, mozzarella, or provolone.
  • to taste Salt For seasoning.
  • to taste Pepper For seasoning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place steak in the freezer for about 45 minutes until firm.
  • Slice the steak into thin 1/8 inch strips.
  • Coat the strips in 1 tablespoon of oil and set aside.

Cooking

  • Cook fries according to package instructions or to your liking.
  • In a pan, cook the steak strips over medium heat until cooked through.
  • Place cooked fries on a serving plate, layer with steak strips, and top with cheese.
  • Place under a broiler until cheese is melted.
  • Season with salt and pepper and serve warm.

Notes

Serve hot with optional toppings like onions, jalapeños, or ranch dressing. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
