Reese's Peanut Butter Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • 3 whole ripe bananas, mashed Use overripe bananas for best sweetness
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter Can substitute with crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar Regular granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour Can substitute with gluten-free flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix-Ins

  • 1 cup mini Reese’s peanut butter cups Chopped regular ones can also be used
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Toppings (optional)

  • Banana slices + melted chocolate For topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  • In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Fold in the Reese’s peanut butter cups and chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Optionally, top it with banana slices.

Baking

  • Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
  • Let it cool slightly before drizzling with melted chocolate, slicing, and enjoying!

Notes

Store in plastic wrap or foil at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. Freeze individual slices for up to 3 months.
