  • 16 oz button or cremini mushrooms, cleaned and stems trimmed
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, thyme or rosemary (if using), salt, and pepper.

Roasting

  • Place the cleaned mushrooms in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle the garlic butter mixture over the mushrooms, tossing gently to coat evenly.
  • Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the mushrooms are golden brown and tender.
  • If desired, drizzle with lemon juice before serving.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Ensure you clean the mushrooms gently without soaking them in water. Mix in other herbs or add red pepper flakes for added flavor. It's best to use fresh mushrooms for the best texture.
