Main ingredients

  • 2 packages kielbasa Savory sausage for added flavor
  • 2 pieces bell peppers, sliced Any color works
  • 1 piece onion, sliced Adds sweetness and flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Oil For cooking
  • 1 tablespoon Heath Riles Garlic Butter Seasoning For added seasoning
  • 19 oz bag frozen tortellini Cheese-filled for a hearty dish
  • 1/2 cup water To cook tortellini
  • to taste Italian dressing For seasoning and flavor
  • to taste Parmesan cheese For topping before serving

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • Heat a griddle over medium-high heat.
  • Add a little oil to the griddle, then toss in the sliced kielbasa, peppers, and onions.
  • Season the mixture with Garlic Butter Seasoning.
  • Cook everything until the kielbasa, peppers, and onions are cooked to your liking.
  • On the other side of the griddle, add one bag of frozen tortellini.
  • Pour about 1/2 cup of water over the tortellini and cover with a griddle dome.
  • Let cook for about 4 minutes, until the tortellini is tender, adding more water if needed.
  • Stir together the tortellini, peppers, onions, and kielbasa.
  • Add just enough Italian dressing to coat the tortellini, mixing well.
  • Top with Parmesan cheese and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to add more vegetables, like spinach or zucchini, for extra nutrition. If you like it spicy, add some crushed red pepper flakes. Use fresh tortellini instead of frozen for a different texture and flavor.
