  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix Use as a base for the muffins.
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese Can substitute with other cheese types.
  • 4 pieces eggs Bind the ingredients together.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  • In a skillet, brown the breakfast sausage over low heat for 5-7 minutes until crumbly. Allow it to cool afterward.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the cooked sausage, Bisquick baking mix, cheddar cheese, and eggs until everything is well combined.
  • Divide the mixture between the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.

Baking

  • Bake for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let the muffins cool in the pan on a wire rack for a few minutes, then remove and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

You can serve these muffins warm or at room temperature. Pair them with a side of fruit or a dollop of your favorite hot sauce for an extra kick. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week, or freeze for up to three months.
