Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Layer the cubed bread in the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the cheese, diced ham or sausage, and chopped vegetables over the bread.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread and toppings, ensuring everything is evenly coated.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight if desired.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the egg is set and the top is golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving to your guests.

Notes
