  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter Using unsalted butter allows better control over seasoning.
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice Fresh lemon juice is preferred.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For added garlicky flavor.
  • 1 tsp paprika For a lovely smoky flavor.
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) Adds freshness and color to the dish.
  • to taste salt and black pepper Essential for bringing out natural flavors.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash, chop, and prepare all ingredients: Chop parsley, mince garlic, and shell the shrimp.
  • In a bowl, combine the bite-sized steak pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Mix well.

Cooking

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak bites in a single layer and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  • Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, lower the heat, add unsalted butter, and let it melt. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with paprika, salt, and black pepper, and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink.
  • Stir in lemon juice and return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss everything together in the garlic butter sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra kick, add red pepper flakes when cooking the shrimp. This dish pairs well with a green salad, fluffy rice, or roasted vegetables.
