  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced) Enhances the aroma.
  • 1 in Ginger (grated) Adds spiciness and warmth.
  • 2 stalks Green onions (sliced) Adds freshness and crunch.
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce Provides umami flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper For an extra kick.
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For sautéing.
  • to taste Salt Adjust according to preference.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients, slicing the beef thinly and chopping the vegetables.
  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced beef to the pot and cook until browned on all sides for about 3-5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook until they begin to break down.
  • Add the chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  • Once boiling, add the noodles and cook according to package instructions.
  • Lower the heat and slowly pour in the beaten eggs, stirring gently to create ribbons.
  • Season with soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Adjust to taste.
  • Top with sliced green onions right before serving.
  • Serve hot and enjoy, possibly with crusty bread for dipping.

Notes

For best results, don't rush the browning of the beef. Use fresh ingredients when possible, and feel free to customize with leftover veggies.
