Casserole Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use leftover rotisserie chicken to save time.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed You can use frozen broccoli, just make sure to thaw and drain.
  • 1 cup cooked rice For a lighter version, try using brown rice.
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Can be substituted with different cream soups for variety.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to add extra cheese on top.
  • 1/2 cup milk Add extra milk for a creamier texture.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs (optional) Sprinkle on top for added crunch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, steamed broccoli, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  • If using, sprinkle bread crumbs on top for added crunch.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.

Serving

  • Serve warm and enjoy your cozy family dinner with a green salad or crusty bread.
