  • In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix the refried beans with taco seasoning until the mixture is uniform.
  • Evenly spread the seasoned refried beans across the base of a glass or ceramic serving dish.
  • Gently layer the sour cream over the refried beans, creating a smooth second layer.
  • Evenly pour the salsa over the sour cream, spreading gently to form another distinct layer.
  • Scatter the shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa, ensuring uniform coverage.
  • Distribute diced tomatoes evenly across the cheese.
  • Sprinkle shredded lettuce evenly as the sixth layer.
  • Finish by garnishing with sliced black olives and chopped green onions.
  • Refrigerate the assembled dip for at least 60 minutes to enhance flavor development.

Serving

  • Serve chilled with tortilla chips.

Notes
