  • 8 ounces Snow peas, trimmed
  • 8 ounces Mushrooms, sliced Any variety of mushrooms can be used.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Use fresh garlic for a stronger flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce Use tamari for a gluten-free option.
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil Provides a nutty flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to your liking.
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil Use a high smoke point oil, like vegetable or canola.

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Add garlic and mushrooms to the pan; cook until the mushrooms are softened.
  • Add snow peas and cook for 1-2 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  • Return shrimp to the pan and add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  • Toss to combine and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot over rice.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. For reheating, warm in a skillet or microwave until heated through. Use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
