Ingredients
  

Shrimp Mixture

  • 1 pound Fresh chopped shrimp Sweet and briny taste.
  • 1 small onion Diced onion
  • 1 stalk Chopped celery
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese Provides creaminess.
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Fontina cheese Can substitute with mozzarella or any melty cheese.
  • 1 teaspoon A pinch of Cajun spice Adjust according to spice preference.

Base

  • 8 slices Slices of toast or bread Thick slices recommended for a heartier bite.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine fresh chopped shrimp, diced onion, chopped celery, and minced garlic.
  • Add cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, and shredded Fontina cheese to the bowl and mix until beautifully blended.
  • Sprinkle in a pinch of Cajun spice to the shrimp mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spread the shrimp mixture generously over each slice of toast.
  • Arrange toasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Let cool for a minute before serving warm.

Notes

Don't overmix the shrimp; it should have a bit of texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat to enjoy again.
