  • 1 lb flank steak, sliced Slice against the grain for more tender pieces.
  • 1 piece bell pepper, sliced Use any color bell pepper.
  • 1 piece onion, sliced Yellow or white onion works well.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Garlic adds flavor.

Sauce ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Cooking ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil Use for frying.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  • Add the sliced flank steak and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Notes

Serve on a plate over a bed of steamed rice or alongside noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions for an added touch. For extra color and crunch, feel free to add other vegetables like broccoli or snow peas.
