  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Helps achieve a crispy finish.

  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper Freshly cracked preferred for a nice kick.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Adds aromatic touch.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Gives beautiful color and subtle smokiness.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly under cold running water.
  • Slice the potatoes into even rounds, about ¼ inch thick.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the sliced potatoes, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss to combine.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned potato slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If necessary, cook in batches.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Check for doneness after 15 minutes; they should be golden brown and crispy. If needed, add an additional 3-5 minutes.
  • Once done, transfer the crispy potatoes to a serving bowl and enjoy hot.

Notes

Make sure potatoes are dry after washing for better crispiness. Consider mixing in grated Parmesan for added flavor. These potatoes pair well with a variety of dishes and can be served with dipping sauces like ranch or garlic aioli.
