  • 1 piece Corned beef brisket Make sure you get a good-quality cut for the best flavor.
  • 1 packet Spices (included with the corned beef package) These spices give the brisket its signature taste.
  • 4 cups Water Helps create a flavorful broth that keeps the meat juicy.

Vegetables

  • 1 head Cabbage A must-have ingredient that soaks up all the flavors beautifully.
  • 3 medium Carrots Add a subtle sweetness and a pop of color.
  • 1.5 pounds Baby red potatoes Their creamy texture pairs perfectly with the corned beef.

Preparation

  • Get out your slow cooker and place the corned beef brisket inside, fat side up.
  • Sprinkle the spice packet evenly over the brisket, then pour in enough water to cover the meat.

Cooking

  • Set your slow cooker to LOW and let it cook for 8 to 10 hours.
  • One hour before serving, add the chopped cabbage, carrots, and baby red potatoes.
  • Let the vegetables cook in the flavorful broth until they’re soft.

Serving

  • Once cooked, remove the corned beef and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve with the tender veggies and spoon some of the delicious broth over the top.

Notes

For an extra kick, feel free to add a pinch of black pepper or garlic powder. Leftovers can be refrigerated or frozen for later use, and they taste even better the next day!
