Ingredients
  

Steak and Marinade

  • 1.5 pounds steak (sirloin or flank steak), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional) Adjust according to spice preference.

Garnish

  • to taste Green onions or sesame seeds (optional) Use for garnish before serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, garlic, olive oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Place the steak pieces in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over the top.
  • Stir to coat the steak in the sauce.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the steak is tender.

Serving

  • Serve over mashed potatoes and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

If you have leftovers, they can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. To reheat, warm in the microwave or on the stove until heated through.
