Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes (sliced or diced) Use your choice of potatoes, sweet or red potatoes can be substituted.
  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix This adds great flavor.
  • 1 cup water To mix with the onion soup mix.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Optional, adds richness to the dish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the sliced or diced potatoes in the slow cooker.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the Lipton Onion Soup Mix with water until combined.
  • Pour the soup mix over the potatoes.
  • Add butter if desired.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the potatoes are tender.

Notes

Leftover Lipton Onion Potatoes can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and can be reheated in the microwave or on the stove. For longer storage, cool completely before freezing in a freezer-safe container for up to a month. For extra flavor, add chopped garlic or onion, or stir in sour cream or cream cheese before serving. You can also customize with additional vegetables like carrots or bell peppers.
