  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs Helps bind the mixture together.
  • 1 piece egg Acts as a binding agent.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce Adds depth of flavor.
  • to taste salt and pepper Good seasoning enhances flavor.

For Serving

  • 4 pieces burger buns Any preferred style (Ciabatta, brioche, etc.).
  • to taste toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc.) Customize as desired.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped poblano peppers, shredded cheese, bread crumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently, being careful not to overmix.
  • Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into patties.

Cooking

  • Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

Assembly

  • Assemble each burger by placing a patty on a bun and adding your favorite toppings.

Notes

For juicier burgers, consider adding a bit of beef broth to the mixture. Roast poblano peppers over an open flame for enhanced smoky flavor.
