Ingredients for Skewers

  • 1 lb Shrimp Use large shrimp for best results.
  • 1 lb Andouille sausage Can be substituted with another type of sausage.
  • 2 ears Corn on the cob Cut into manageable pieces.
  • 1 lb Baby potatoes Cut into manageable pieces.
  • 2 tbsp Old Bay seasoning For seasoning the butter.
  • 4 tbsp Butter Melted and mixed with seasoning for brushing.

Preparation

  • Fire up the grill.
  • Cut the corn and potatoes into manageable pieces.
  • Skewer the shrimp, Andouille sausage, corn, and potatoes in an alternating pattern.
  • Melt butter and mix it with Old Bay seasoning in a bowl.
  • Brush the skewers with the Old Bay-infused butter.

Cooking

  • Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, until the shrimp are cooked and the potatoes are tender.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

Tips: Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning. Optionally add bell peppers or onions for more flavor.
