Preparation

  • Start by bringing your butter to room temperature for easier mixing.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  • Mix until everything is evenly distributed.
  • Shape the mixture into a log using plastic wrap and twist the ends to secure.
  • Chill in the fridge for at least an hour.
  • Slice the chilled butter into rounds and serve on grilled steak or meat.

Notes

Optionally add lemon juice or zest for sweetness, or crushed red pepper flakes for heat. This butter is versatile and can also be used on chicken or vegetables.
