  • 2 pieces ribeye steaks Preferably well-marbled for tenderness.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For searing the steaks.
  • to taste salt and pepper Enhances the natural flavors of the steak.
  • 8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined Can substitute with scallops.
  • 1 tbsp butter Adds richness to the shrimp.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds depth of flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a rich, creamy sauce.
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning Adjust according to heat preference.
  • 1/2 tsp paprika Adds color and smokiness.
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper Optional for extra heat.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese For added creaminess.
  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.
  • 1 pieces lemon wedges For serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and heat until hot.
  • Sear the steaks in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove and let rest.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and add Cajun seasoning, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  • Incorporate the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Return the shrimp to the skillet and coat in the sauce.
  • Serve the steaks on plates and pour the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce over them.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Allow steaks to rest before cutting to enhance tenderness. Adjust spice levels to taste.
