Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream cheese The star ingredient for a rich and creamy texture.
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar Adds sweetness without graininess.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract Enhances the flavor.

For the Topping

  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries, sliced Core ingredient that makes the pie special.
  • 1/4 cup Corn syrup Used for the glaze.
  • 1/4 cup Water To create the glaze.
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice Brightens the flavor of the glaze.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients, measuring them out so you have everything ready.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until it resembles wet sand.
  • Pour the mixture into a pie pan and press it firmly into the bottom and sides.
  • Bake the crust for about 10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Keep an eye on it!
  • Remove the crust from the oven and let it cool completely.

Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • Gradually add in powdered sugar and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Once the crust is completely cool, pour the cream cheese mixture into it and smooth it out.

Glazing and Topping

  • In a small saucepan, combine corn syrup, water, and lemon juice. Bring to gentle boil, then simmer until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  • Arrange sliced strawberries artfully over the cream cheese filling.
  • Drizzle the cooled glaze over the strawberries.

Chilling

  • Place your pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For perfect results, ensure cream cheese is at room temperature. A store-bought graham cracker crust can be used in a pinch. Adjust glaze sweetness by modifying corn syrup.
