Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine strawberries, rhubarb, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Toss until coated.
  • Let the mixture sit for a few minutes to allow the juices to mingle.
  • Pour the fruit mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • In another bowl, mix flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, melted butter, salt, and baking powder until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the crumble topping over the fruit mixture.

Baking

  • Place the cobbler in the preheated oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Don't overmix the crumble to keep it light and crumbly. You can also try adding spices like cinnamon or nutmeg for an extra flavor boost.
