  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar Adjust to taste for sweetness.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream Whip until stiff peaks form.

Filling and Topping

  • 1 cup shortcake crumbs Use store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced Use fresh for the best flavor.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.

Assembly

  • On a clean surface, spread the mixture onto a roll or flatbread.
  • Sprinkle shortcake crumbs and add sliced strawberries on top.
  • Roll it up tightly, then slice into pieces.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve cold, garnished with extra sliced strawberries or a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
