Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a loaf pan generously with butter.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Stir until just combined.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and some cinnamon for the topping, then sprinkle it generously over the batter.
  • Bake for 55-60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
