Ingredients
  

Pasta and Base Ingredients

  • 12 oz Bowtie pasta Can substitute with any pasta.
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Halved for easy bites.
  • 1 cup Cucumbers Diced; skin optional.
  • 1/2 cup Red onion Thinly sliced.
  • 1 cup Bell peppers Mix of colors, diced.
  • 1 cup Feta cheese Crumbled.
  • 1/2 cup Fresh basil leaves Chopped.

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Olive oil High quality recommended.
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed.
  • to taste Salt & pepper Essential for seasoning.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add the bowtie pasta, and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking.

Preparing the Vegetables

  • While the pasta cooks, dice cucumbers, halve cherry tomatoes, slice red onion, and chop bell peppers.

Combining Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta and all chopped vegetables.

Adding Cheese and Herbs

  • Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese and chopped fresh basil over the salad.

Dressing the Salad

  • Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice over the salad, season with salt and pepper, and gently toss to coat.

Chilling and Serving

  • Let the salad chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to meld flavors before serving.
  • Serve cold or at room temperature.
