Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup Apple cider Use fresh if available for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil Can substitute with melted butter or applesauce.
  • 2 Large eggs

Topping

  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar for topping
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon for topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease your loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • In another large bowl, mix the apple cider, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  • Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • While cooling, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon for topping in a small bowl.
  • Brush the top of the loaf with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mix on top before serving.
  • Slice and serve with an optional drizzle of additional apple cider.

Notes

For perfect results, use fresh apple cider and avoid overmixing the batter. Experiment with spices for a unique flavor.
