  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup sugar Adjust according to sweetness preference.
  • 1 cup Whipped cream (for topping) Fluffy whipped cream for serving.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine fresh lemon juice, sweetened condensed milk, lemon zest, and sugar. Whisk until smooth.
  • Pour the lemon mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes to set slightly.
  • Remove from oven and let cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Serve slices topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of salt.

Notes

Using fresh lemon juice is key for the best flavor. Let the pie chill longer for a firmer consistency. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
