  • 1.5 cups Shredded cheddar cheese Sharp cheddar is recommended for extra flavor.
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease or spray your loaf pan to prevent sticking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, and salt. Whisk thoroughly.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
  • Spoon the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Baking

  • Place the loaf in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack.

Notes
