Cooking Steps

  • Heat the sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for about a minute without burning.
  • Add ground pork (or chicken), breaking it up to cook evenly for 5 to 7 minutes until browned.
  • Stir in the coleslaw mix and cook for another 3-5 minutes until softened but still crunchy.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and rice vinegar, stir to coat, and cook for another minute. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with green onions and optional toppings.

Notes

For crunchier cabbage, sauté for a shorter time. Let the meat brown undisturbed initially for better flavor. Serve immediately for best freshness.
