  • 4 large large eggs
  • 1 cup milk or cream Use cream for a richer flavor.
  • 1 cup diced ham Cooked and diced.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli Fresh or frozen.
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • salt and pepper To taste.
  • 1 unit pre-made pie crust (optional) A store-bought crust works well.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk (or cream).
  • Stir in the diced ham, shredded cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheese.
  • Mix in the chopped broccoli, diced onion, and minced garlic.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • If using a pre-made pie crust, place it in a pie dish.
  • Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the top is golden and set.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider incorporating fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme. This quiche can be customized with various vegetables and is a great dish for any meal.
